Who are we?

The Arts & Sports Trust is a small, family-run Trust that was founded in 2003.

The aim of the Trust is to assist young people up to the age of 18 who have exceptional talent in any of the fields of arts or sports, but who may not have the financial resources to fund the specialist training, education and equipment required.

We accept nominations for awards from organisations who will put forward candidates for consideration.

Our Vision Statement.

Our vision is that all young people who have the talent and determination to further develop their skills and abilities in the fields of the Arts or Sports will have access to the specialised equipment, training and education that they require.

They, by their example, will encourage and inspire new generations of young people to participate and follow in their footsteps.

Our Mission Statement.

The Arts & Sports Trust will help young people who have the talent and determination to further develop their skills and abilities in the fields of the Arts or Sports, but who may not have the financial resources to achieve their objectives.

It will provide funds, when needed, to give access to the specialised equipment, training and education required.

Equal Opportunities and Diversity.

The Arts and Sports Trust, in accordance with the general intention of its Charitable Trust Deed, confirms its commitment to the principles of Equal Opportunities and Diversity in grant-making.

As such, individuals are selected and treated on the basis of their relevant merits and abilities and are given Equal Opportunities within the terms of eligibility as defined by the Trust.

Our aim is to ensure that every grant applicant organisation or individual should receive equally favourable treatment in consideration of their application.

It is the Trust's policy to treat all people equally irrespective of race, ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, creed, disability, age, marital or parental status.
